There is a wonderfully contradictory quality to Kindly Myers. She possesses the kind of beauty that seems almost engineered for the pages of a fashion magazine, yet there is nothing overly precious about her. Beyond her fashion magazine beauty lies a woman raised on a Kentucky farm who served in the Army National Guard, rides horses, shoots guns, and hunts alligators. She transitions effortlessly between an old Hollywood portrait look and laughing naturally with those around her, remaining equally authentic in both.
Her story begins far from her current life. Raised by her mother in rural Kentucky alongside two sisters, Kindly learned early that success requires hard work. That farm upbringing instilled a lasting sense of independence and honesty.
“I think all big things come from small beginnings,” she tells Empyreal. “I grew up on a small farm in rural Kentucky. My mother and two sisters. Growing up this way made me value hard work and honesty which has greatly helped me achieve success in life.” It is an unlikely starting point for a career of fashion campaigns, magazine covers, international travel, and millions of social media followers. Yet before all of that, she was simply a Kentucky girl wondering what lay beyond her hometown.

From a Kentucky Farm to the Army National Guard
Her first major move happened in high school, when she took the ASVAB for a local Army National Guard unit. Lacking money, she saw the military as an avenue to travel, experience new places, and build an independent future.
“I knew this was a career that would get me to see new places and have new experiences,” she says. “I didn’t grow up with money and this option seemed like a good choice at the time. Looking back I am so glad that I chose this path.”
That military experience gave her a lasting toughness that seamlessly complements her natural femininity and warmth. Together, these traits create the unique balance that defines her today.
Kindly has never felt forced to choose between the different sides of herself. She can be glamorous without being disconnected, or feminine without fearing getting dirty, equally comfortable modeling swimsuits as riding horses or handling rifles. While many view elegance and toughness as opposites, Kindly disproves this idea. Her strength was part of her character long before she ever had a public image.
Building a Modeling Career in Nashville
After the military, she moved to Nashville, where modeling and social media rapidly accelerated her career. Understanding early how to connect directly with an audience without traditional agencies, Instagram helped her turn online attention into a full fledged profession.
Her work appeared in FHM, Maxim, and Playboy, building a massive following. Yet as her fame grew, her Kentucky roots remained intact, helping her stand out in the industry.
Today she lives in the Nashville countryside near her horses and donkeys, enjoying a slower pace while remaining close enough to travel instantly for work. She has built a life combining countryside quiet with city opportunity.
“I wouldn’t trade it for anything else,” she tells us. “I love living in Nashville. I have my horses and donkeys close by and get to chill and live in the county, while still getting to have the hustle and bustle of city life when I travel.”
Kindly Myers in Tulum: An Empyreal Exclusive
That dynamic carried over to a shoot in Tulum with photographer Michael Pizzoli for Empyreal Magazine. Beyond the tropical scenery, Kindly stood out for her constant humor and effortless Southern charm during long shooting hours. Kindly remembers the trip with equal excitement.
“Yes! This trip was amazing. The locations were absolutely unreal. I finally was able to shoot with photographer Michael Pizzoli, who is well known in his field. The photos came out amazing and i can’t wait for everyone to see them.”
She is also realistic about the downsides of public life, including privacy issues and fake accounts. She offers simple advice to younger women: “It’s not that serious… have fun. Post what you want. It doesn’t have to be perfect. People like the real you.”
She adds an important caveat: “But also keep some things private and just for you. Not everything has to be shared online.” Years in the spotlight have taught her to protect her private life from public scrutiny.
