In a world where stadium tours dominate the headlines and algorithms decide what's hot, Keagen Pitz is flipping the script — one backyard concert at a time. With his startup FANPARTY!, a bold new platform that bridges the digital divide between artists and their fans, Pitz is on a mission to humanize music in a way that’s raw, intimate, and undeniably revolutionary.
Sitting down with Empyreal Magazine, Pitz exudes the quiet confidence of someone who’s been through the wringer and come out stronger. “I’m a fan first,” he says. “This whole thing was born from a place of passion.”
That passion runs deep. Long before FANPARTY! was a glimmer in a pitch deck, Keagen cut his teeth in the trenches of the live music world — as concert security at The Marquee in Tempe, AZ, as a music blogger in San Francisco, and as a camera-toting Warped Tour regular capturing backstage moments and side-stage legends. “I’ve done it all,” he says. “Thrown shows, hosted events, worked marketing, run media. But what always stayed with me was the connection between artist and fan.”
It was at one of those punk-fueled Warped Tours that the lightbulb flicked on: what if fans could book their favorite indie acts for house shows? What if the barrier between audience and performer wasn’t a velvet rope, but a front door?
Pitched over coffee and scribbled on a napkin (which still sits framed on Pitz’s desk seven years later), FANPARTY! was born. But as any founder will tell you, vision is only the beginning.
“I thought I was on the fast track when I pitched FANPARTY! at Capitol Music’s Tech Royale in 2019,” Pitz recalls. “I had momentum, I had validation. Then the world shut down.”
COVID-19 didn’t just delay his dreams — it flattened them. With live shows on ice and no investors in sight, FANPARTY! sat dormant for two long years. But like any true indie artist, Keagen got back up. He self-funded a relaunch in 2022, hired a dev team, and watched as they dropped the ball on UX. Another blow.
“It was brutal,” he admits.
“There were dark days. But I kept going. This thing matters.”
Now, in 2025, the dream is finally taking shape. FANPARTY!’s platform is set to go live this July, followed by iOS and Android apps in the fall. Already, the company has launched its “Summer Sessions” series in Los Angeles and Hollywood — intimate live shows filmed in offbeat locations like rooftops, warehouses, and poolsides. Each session is a visual love letter to what FANPARTY! is all about: music without the middlemen, vibes without the velvet rope.
What sets FANPARTY! apart isn’t just the tech (though the live streaming, tip jar, and artist profiles are slick as hell) — it’s the soul. It’s the idea that live music can be deeply personal again. That fans don’t need to shell out hundreds to feel something real. And that emerging artists deserve a stage, even if it’s your living room.

Looking ahead, Keagen’s five-year plan is ambitious: “We want to be the connective tissue of the music world — in every city, every suburb. I want to help break the next big artist, right out of someone’s backyard.”
Of course, acquisition isn't off the table. “If Goldenvoice, Insomniac, or LiveNation came knocking, we’d talk. But the mission has to stay pure.”
For now, FANPARTY! remains fiercely indie — just how Keagen likes it. And with a fall launch party on the horizon, Empyreal Magazine can confidently say: this isn’t just a startup. It’s a movement.
We’ll see you at the launch party.
